Annual High School Workshop
Posted: June 9, 2015
To celebrate National Athletic Training month in March, the Athletic Training Student Association (ATSA) welcomed nearly 80 high school students, teachers, and chaperones from around the valley to the annual Athletic Training High School Workshop. High school students spent the day learning about lower extremity taping techniques, virtual anatomy, and lower extremity injury prevention. An informal roundtable included students and faculty from multiple health care disciplines at A.T. Still University who provided information to the high school students interested in seeking careers in health care. The workshop concluded with a quiz bowl in which the schools competed against each other for the prizes.
