Anthony Pucci, DPT, ’17, was honored with the Mesa Rotary Student of the Month award at the Mesa Rotary luncheon held at the Mesa Hilton on Sept. 16. Pucci, a St. Louis native, received his undergraduate degree from Truman State University before coming to ATSU’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS).
University students are recognized by the Mesa Rotary each month, and September highlighted ATSU-ASHS. “Anthony is an excellent choice for the Mesa Rotary Student of the Month award because of his dedication to scholarly activity and his willingness to be a student ambassador,” said Jim Farris, PT, PhD, chair of the department of physical therapy at ATSU.
ATSU-ASHS Dean Randy Danielsen, a member of the Mesa Rotary Club, stated “I was very proud to be part of the presentation for this very deserving student. Anthony’s caring and service-oriented attitude is what our students at ATSU-ASHS are all about.”
