Recent successes and updates were shared by ATSU-ASHS Dean Randy Danielsen, PhD, PA-C, Bert Simon, DHSc, PA-C, Geoffrey Hoffa, DHSc, ’14, MS, PA-C, ’00, and Jim Burkett, MS, PA-C, ’09. Below is a summary of announcements.
- ATSU-ASHS celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Sales will support student scholarships. Alumni Affairs will be in touch once the prints are available.
- ATSU is proud to announce an expansion of the Arizona campus where a new building has been commissioned. Stay tuned for updates on this new, exciting development.
- If you or your colleagues are interested in precepting students, the Physician Assistant Studies program welcomes additional sites at which students can train. For more information, please contact Dr. Laura Witte at lwitte@atsu.edu.
- ATSU-ASHS is currently planning CME courses for PA alumni. Information on these beneficial CE opportunities will be shared in the coming months.
- The ASHS Alumni Chapter and ATSU Alumni Association Boards are working more closely to advance the university and health professions, and we welcome your involvement. If you have input on how we can further the PA profession or health professions education, please feel free to share them with us at alumniaz@atsu.edu.
