Richard H. Mercer, D.O., ’55, and his wife, Bess, were presented the Distinguished Patron lifetime giving award ($25,000-$49,999) at the annual Still/Legacy Society and Still Partners Reception during the ATSUKCOM Founder’s Day celebration. David L. Zonderman, D.O., ’72, and his wife, Lois, were presented the Distinguished Patron lifetime giving award ($25,000-$49,999) at their home in Solomons, Md. Dr. Zonderman is a semi-retired family practitioner who volunteers at Habitat for Humanity, enjoys his sailboat, and performs locum tenens work.
Frank G. Veres, D.O., ’65, and his wife, Patricia, were presented the Diplomate lifetime giving award ($50,000- $99,999) at Enzo’s Restaurant in Warren, Ohio. Dr. Veres is a former chairperson of the ATSU Board of Trustees. Together with his son, Zachary F. Veres, D.O., ’03, they operate The Veres Group Family Practice Clinic.
Robert W. Sparks, D.O., ’83, was presented the Honored Patron lifetime giving award ($15,000-$24,999). Dr. Sparks is a family practitioner in Kirksville, Mo. Pictured with Dr. Sparks is Bob Behnen, director of development.
Cynthia Ann Byler, D.O., M.P.H., KCOM ’85, SHM ’04, was presented the Diplomate lifetime giving award ($50,000-$99,999) during the ATSUKCOM Founder’s Day celebration. Dr. Byler is an occupational and preventive medicine physician at Orthopedic Associates LLC in St. Louis. Dr. Byler also serves on the ATSU Board of Trustees. Pictured with Dr. Byler is Carl G. Bynum, D.O., M.P.H., ’75, chairman of the ATSU Board of Trustees.
Betty Jo White, D.O., FACOS, KCUMB, ’63, was presented the A.T. Still Fellow lifetime giving award ($100,000-$299,999). Dr. White is a retired general surgeon and lives in Grove City, Pa. Hoyt, D.O., FACOS, ’53, one of Dr. White’s residency trainers at Bashline Memorial Hospital, and Randy Rogers, CFP®, associate vice president for institutional advancement, at right.
Alnasir H. Adatia, D.O., ’83, and his wife, Karima, were presented the Distinguished Patron lifetime giving award ($25,000-$49,999) at the annual Still/Legacy Society and Still Partners Reception during the ATSU-KCOM Founder’s Day celebration. Dr. Adatia practices family medicine in Federal Way, Wash. The Northeast Missouri Osteopathic Charitable Trust was presented the Diplomate lifetime giving award ($50,000- $99,999) during the ATSU-KCOM Founder’s Day celebration. Representing the Northeast Missouri Osteopathic Charitable Trust were Lloyd J. Cleaver, D.O., ’76, pictured fifth, and his wife, Kathy, and Michael K. Willman, D.O., ’65, and his wife, Janet.
