ATSU-ASDOH’s Dr. Park announced as president-elect of American Board of Orthodontics

Jae Hyun Park, DMD, MSD, MS, PhD, professor and chair of A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health’s (ATSU-ASDOH) Postgraduate Orthodontic program, has been announced as president-elect of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), beginning his one-year term on May 1, 2023.

Dr. Park became certified by the ABO in 2007, and has since served in numerous roles within the organization. Currently, he is chair of the written examination committee and also serves as an ABO examiner. As president-elect, Dr. Park will become a member of the ABO’s executive, clinical, and policy committees.

The ABO is the national certifying board for orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, and works to protect the orthodontic specialty, encourage lifelong learning among orthodontists, and ensure the highest level of patient care.

Dr. Park has previously served as president of the Arizona State Orthodontic Association and as the central body director of the National E.H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, representing Northern California.
