Good news

The United Health Foundation recently expanded this program by providing an additional $50,000 loanship to a qualifying ASDOH graduating dentist in 2010-11. The loan recipient will get $25,000 to repay his or her student loan at the end of each year for two years.

Suzewits is acting dean

Jeff Suzewits, D.O., ‘88, M.P.H., associate dean for clinical educational affairs, academic officer for OPTIK, and associate professor of Family Medicine, has been named acting dean of ATSU’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine until July 1, 2011, while dean Philip Slocum, D.O., ’76, is on requested medical leave.
