In her dreams
Posted: April 3, 2009ATSU-ASHS physical therapy alum Elizabeth Darling’s, MPT, ATC, OCS, dreams of going to the Olympics are revealed in the October 20, 2008 issue of Advance for Physical Therapists and PT Assistants.
“The sporty 16-year-old played soccer and softball, but specialized in rhythmic gymnastics. She eventually made the national team and competed at the Pan American Games in 1991 and World Championships in 1992.
“Then she experienced a bout of back pain, and didn’t make the national team the following year. But those two experiences didn’t keep Darling from fulfilling her dream. They propelled her.”
