Helping hands help othersPosted: February 27, 2014
For the second year, ATSU-KCOM pediatric club along with Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity hosted a “Build-a-Hand” project. Students built 10 prosthetic hands for children overseas who have lost their hands in land mine accidents. More than 50 students gathered to volunteer and build the hands.
The project was funded through the clubs, Kirksville Osteopathic Alumni Association, and Student Government Association. More information about the project can be found at odysseyteams.com
