Dr. Wilson appointed chair of AACOM’s new task force

Margaret Wilson, DO, ’82, dean, was appointed chair of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine’s new Task Force on Ethics and Professionalism. The group is charged with evaluating professional standards and ethics, assessing any changes in curriculum design, and making necessary recommendations to further strengthen the educational system and professional standards. Dr. Wilson also joined the Women’s Health Council for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. In February, Dr. Wilson received the Black Diamond District Champion Volunteer Award and served as the keynote speaker at the Boy Scouts of America Black Diamond District banquet.

“Integrity, ethical behavior, and professionalism are at the core of what makes us physicians,” says Dr. Wilson on her appointment to AACOM’s new task force.
