ATSU Human Resources hosts Title IX training for employees

A.T. Still University’s (ATSU) Human Resources department recently hosted civil rights investigator training and certification for University employees, conducted by the Association of Title IX Administrators. As level-one training, the course provides foundational knowledge and skills for civil rights investigators, deputies, and Title IX coordinators. Participants are prepared to conduct fair, impartial, and prompt investigations of campus sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, and allegations of discrimination.

More than 70 investigators from various institutions across the country, including many ATSU employees, participated in the two-day training.

“The training ensures ATSU is compliant with federal policy and implements best practices to better serve employees, students, and other stakeholders,” says John Gardner, PhD, director of Title IX and training.
