ATSU-ASHS alumna published in leading physical therapy journal
Posted: September 16, 2021A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) alumna Trisha Perry, PT, DPT, ’07, recently had a research article published in the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT).
The article, “Clinical Guidance to Optimize Work Participation After Injury or Illness: The Role of Physical Therapists,” was published online in July and in print in August.
Dr. Perry has been an active ATSU alumna, having previously served as a member and chair of the ATSU-ASHS Alumni Chapter Board, and as a member of the ATSU Alumni Association Board.
Dr. Perry established Perry’s Passion for Service Scholarship, awarded to ATSU-ASHS third-year residential students who are active in their community and seek to advance the University’s mission to focus on whole person healthcare, scholarship, community health, interprofessional education, diversity, and underserved populations.
