Above & Beyond Award
The Above and Beyond Compassion Award recognizes ATSU students, faculty, staff and administration for doing compassionate deeds, service or acts that demonstrate caring or support of another person or group beyond what might be typically expected.
Any current ATSU student, faculty, administrator or staff member.
CRITERIA & NOMINATION:
Nominations may be made anytime by contacting the Student Affairs office on the Missouri or Arizona campus.
Nominations must be made based on specific examples of good deeds, acts or services provided by one person/group to another person/ group that would be considered “Above and Beyond.” Doing one’s job (employee, student leader etc.) in an exceptional manner may not always qualify a person for selection. We receive a large numbers of nominations and we strive to select the finalists whose compassion has the most significant impact.
Criteria are purposefully vague to encourage a variety of nominations based on a variety of services benefiting the ATSU community.
Each recipient will receive an “Above and Beyond” certificate and a recognition pin as well as a news release on IConnect. Recipients on the Missouri campus will be notified by the office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and on the Arizona campus from the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs.
Awards will be made on an ongoing basis and presented to the recipient in an appropriate manner and setting
