Educational technology resources
Using educational technology intentionally throughout the teaching and learning process can positively impact learner engagement, motivation, and outcomes. The TLC has a variety of resources available to help educators navigate the constantly evolving educational technology landscape.
Canvas in Five
Each month, the TLC produces a five-minute video to quickly highlight how technology tools can be used to support teaching and learning tasks within the learning management system. Canvas in Five videos have highlighted Canvas elements including:
- Gradebook
- Rubrics
- ePortfolios
- Quizzes
- Course analytics
A list of previous Canvas in Five videos can be reviewed by sub-topic or tool/feature. These videos are distributed through the TLC’s monthly newsletter and available on the TLC Learning Channel (YouTube). Additionally, each month’s TLC Tech Time expands on the Canvas in Five by providing a deeper dive with a demonstration (recorded) and a live Q&A.
TLC Seminar Series archive
The TLC Seminar Series is offered throughout the year in a variety of formats, including live and recorded webinars, podcasts, and eLearning modules. While the Events & news page and the TLC newsletters are great places to learn about upcoming offerings, this archive of previous seminars is a valuable resource for on-demand learning.
