Research Interests: Dr. Fleschner's research interests are describing the structure and function of ocular lens plasma membranes and describing biochemical changes which occur in the composition of these plasma membranes during the formation of experimental cataracts. This knowledge will be useful in the understanding of human senile cataracts.
