Education Modules - Instructions

To access the education modules provided by the Aging Studies Project, find the module you are interested in taking and follow the instructions on how to access the module. Some of these modules will require you to enroll in the BlackBoard course, while others may exist within outside organizations and require you to register and create an account

This module is offered as a BlackBoard course.

To access this module, contact a member of the Aging Studies Project Leadership Team and someone from the College of Graduate Health Studies will add you to the course.

Individualizing Drug Therapy for Geriatric Patients

This module is offered as a BlackBoard course, and was created by Dr. Julia Ousterhout, PhD, Assistant Professor - Department of Pharmacology.

Detecting and Preventing Elder Abuse

In order to access this module, you will need an access key. To obtain this access key, contact a member of the Aging Studies Project Leadership Team.

To access this module:

  • Go to http://www.edgt.com/
  • Register by clicking on the "Register Now" link on the left-hand navigation
  • Click on the "register as a student" option
  • Enter the access key that was provided to you
  • Complete the registration process, and then click on "Start Using EDG"
  • In the pop-up window, click on "view a tutorial"
  • Click on the "Detecting and Preventing Elder Abuse" module
