The Academic and Clinical Educational Affairs Department coordinates the efforts of medical educators to implement the College’s teaching and assessment programs during the first through fourth years. To accomplish this mission, this department:

  • Supports the first and second year curriculum
  • Supports third and fourth year clinical rotations
  • Develops and monitors the College teaching and assessment criteria for the third and fourth year
  • Facilitates the regional site match process for second year students
  • Coordinates clinical activities and assessment requirements in the Core Regional Sites
