Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation and compliance
As an accredited provider of CME by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the Continuing Education department is involved early in the development of every educational activity for which category 1 credits are provided. If an activity is organized by an entity outside of Continuing Education, significant faculty involvement is required.
Meeting requirements for continuing education is essential not only to maintain licensure but also to ensure your leading-edge knowledge that helps you grow as a leader who champions the health of your community.
Competencies are closely aligned with Interprofessional Education, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
