Rupal S. Vora, MD FACP, graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1995 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, CA in 1998. She is licensed in Arizona and board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Vora has been a faculty member at ATSU-SOMA since 2006. She has served in numerous teaching and leadership capacities at ATSU-SOMA. She has previously served as Chair of the Awards Committee and Chair of the At-Risk Committee.

Dr. Vora currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Achievement, guiding students through medical school at ATSU-SOMA into residency training. She provides individualized and class-specific guidance regarding achieving academic success, preparing for board examinations (COMLEX, USMLE), exploring and selecting specialties, navigating the intricacies and specifics of the residency application process, various residency matches, and scrambles. She is the liaison for WellConnect, directs the Faculty Advisement Program, coordinates Peer Mentorship (including the Big Sib-Little Sib program), serves as the ATSU-SOMA representative for the American College of Physicians, interfaces with alumni to provide mentorship to ATSU-SOMA students, collaborates with Student Affairs at ATSU for academic and supportive resources, directs students to available career-related opportunities, and serves on various committees, such as the Student Performance Committee, At Risk Committee, SOMA Care Team. She has created and maintains a comprehensive Google Site that provides information for ATSU-SOMA students on Professional Development Resources and Residency Guidance and meets with students of all OMS years through video conferencing. Dr. Vora’s focus is on enhancing medical student connectivity, sense of community, and academic satisfaction.
