Harvey Simon, MD, JD, FAAP, received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his pediatric residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Hospital. He has extensive experience teaching medical students and residents in the private office, in community health centers, and in the hospital. Dr. Simon is also an attorney and often lectures on medical jurisprudence and medical ethics.
Prior to joining the ATSU faculty, Dr. Simon was a regional director of medical education at Adelante Healthcare in Phoenix, Arizona; a volunteer with the National Health Service Corps; and was the United States Public Health Service Consultant for Maternal and Child Health for Region 2. Dr. Simon has extensive experience as a practicing pediatrician and has served as the medical director of a community health center and a group of pediatric urgent care centers.
