Anna Campbell, PhD, received her bachelor in science degree in biological sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and doctorate in anatomy from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Her doctoral work focused on identifying the role of endogenous opioid systems in autoimmune diseases using an animal model of Multiple Sclerosis.
Dr. Campbell joined ATSU-SOMA faculty in May 2012. Her teaching interests include gross anatomy, embryology, and histology. Dr. Campbell has a passion for anatomy and interacting with medical students. She is excited to be part of an innovative educational team and work with similarly passionate individuals at ATSU-SOMA.
