Dr. Alison R. Snyder Valier is an accomplished Professor of Athletic Training in Arizona School of Health Sciences, and Research Faculty at the School of Osteopathic Medicine Arizona, A.T. Still University. In addition to her role as a professor, she also serves as the Assistant Director of the Department of Research Support, where she contributes to the coordination of support services related to research and scholarly innovations for faculty and staff at the University. Dr. Snyder Valier holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Science and has a background in athletic training, which has allowed her to make significant contributions to the field of sports medicine through research and education. As a Fellow of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), she has been recognized for her exceptional work and outstanding contributions to the profession. Dr. Snyder Valier's expertise lies in clinical outcomes research, health-related quality of life, quality improvement, social determinants of health, and sport-injury epidemiology. Her contributions to the field can be seen in the numerous articles she has authored in peer-reviewed journals, as well as her presentations at national conferences.
