Being in the DAT program at ATSU has allowed me to relearn and expand upon my passions in athletic training, as well as developing a brand-new interest in the current state of our profession. Through the Applied Research Project (ARP), I was able to perform original research surrounding the Work-Related Quality of Life in athletic trainers, collecting meaningful data to better understand what factors affect an athletic trainers WRQoL across various settings and degree levels. Through this data, we will be able to complete various projects focused on specific variables affecting WRQoL in athletic trainers to help better guide future athletic trainers into positive experiences.
