“Every day in this program is an opportunity to get better. I do not want to be mediocre. I want to be a better clinician for my patients and an advocate for my profession.”
My best friend received her DAT degree from ATSU. The positive experience she had fed my desire to be a part of this amazing program. I feel ATSU has a very special group of individuals leading this program. They have challenged me to think outside the box and look deeper into my philosophies as a professional.
Since beginning the DAT, I have become excited about being a part of the research process and seeing the value of being actively involved in research and using patient-reported outcomes in practice.
If you are thinking about applying to the DAT, do it! This has been one of the most positive experiences I have had professionally. Getting a routine in place while in the DAT is very important to success. I promise if this is something you really want to do, it is possible for you to do it.
