I first started to consider enrolling in a Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) program when I discovered a growing passion for education and learning within the athletic training profession. Driven by a goal to shape the next generation of clinicians as a professor in athletic training, I recognized that achieving this dream required higher education.
Through both research and professional recommendations, A.T. Still University (ATSU) stood out as a clear choice. Given the institution's reputation for innovation and research, I knew the curriculum would challenge me to evolve as both a clinician and an educator. This was confirmed the moment I met the faculty; their expertise and forward-thinking approach were matched only by their sense of community. Right from the start, the ATSU DAT faculty felt like a family, one that I was eager to join and learn from.
