Choosing A.T. Still University (ATSU) for my Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) was a natural next step in my professional journey. After earning my post-professional Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) from ATSU, I continued my education by completing the Graduate Certificate in Sports Neurology and Concussion.
These programs not only strengthened my clinical knowledge and confidence as a healthcare professional but also helped develop the leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills that have allowed me to serve in professional leadership positions at the state and district levels.
The faculty at ATSU challenged me to think beyond day-to-day patient care and encouraged me to become actively involved in advancing the athletic training profession. Through those experiences, I discovered a passion for leadership, mentorship, and service.
As I pursue my DAT, I am excited to continue building on that foundation, expand my expertise, and further develop the skills needed to make a meaningful impact on my patients, students, colleagues, and the profession as a whole.
