Faculty and staff

The ATSU-ASHS faculty philosophy is to provide students with a combination of personal attention and pedagogical expertise. To ensure each student has a thorough understanding of required material, faculty use a variety of teaching techniques, incorporating technology and hands-on experience. Whether through office visits, additional reference materials, tutoring programs, or review sessions, students have access to diverse support systems to make the most of their education.

Many full-time faculty members are active practitioners in their respective fields and/or participating in state and national associations. Each faculty member is committed to teaching students the most current techniques and principles. This includes extensive interprofessional opportunities for both students and faculty.

Students engage with peers across health professions in shared learning environments such as anatomy and research courses taught by faculty across disciplines. The student-run pro bono clinic provides additional opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and applied clinical experience.

Across ATSU-ASHS, faculty are dedicated to scholarly activity through grant writing, publications, presentations, and active research within the Interdisciplinary Research Center on campus.

As part of ATSU-ASHS’s commitment to community engagement, faculty also participate alongside students in service initiatives and community partnerships, with a strong focus on addressing the needs of underserved populations.
