Unity Healthcare is the leading provider of services to medically underserved men, women and children in the District of Columbia. The community health center offers family-oriented comprehensive health care, dental care, and community services. Unity Healthcare serves urban, suburban, immigrant, older adult, homeless, and HIV populations with a full range of specialty and support services.

Unity Healthcare has been caring for the District’s medically underserved residents for more than 25 years with 29 facilities, including 13 community-based health centers, 10 homeless medical sites, 3 school based health centers, 2 health services sites in DC jails and 1 mobile health unit.

Today, A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) students call Unity Healthcare their “community campus.” Second-, third-, and fourth-year students live in the nation’s capital and integrate their basic science and clinical skills in a setting where they have interaction with a diverse suburban and urban population of patients.
