Beaufort-Jasper-Hampton Comprehensive Health Services Ridgeland, South Carolina

Beaufort-Jasper-Hampton Comprehensive Health Services (BJHCHS) is at the forefront of providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in South Carolina. This community health center was established to make healthcare available to the isolated and underserved, and over time has grown to become one of the largest and most valued healthcare providers in South Carolina. In consistently trying to meet the needs of the community, BJHCHS has expanded its capabilities by improving its facilities and offering more healthcare services to the South Carolina Low Country Community.

The range of services that the patients receive from BJHCHS is abundant and diverse. Women may see an ob/gyn for care throughout her pregnancy. Newborns and children to age 18 obtain pediatric care including sick and well visits. Family medicine offers primary care, immunizations and sports physicals. Adult health maintenance and prevention along with screenings and comprehensive wellness examinations are available for older patients looking to stay healthy. A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) has a partnership with BJHCHS, allowing students to interact with patients beginning in their second year of school.

The Community Health Center also provides dental care to the low country of South Carolina, and on-sight pharmacy services. As one of the largest healthcare facilities in the state, they have become an essential part of healthy living in South Carolina.
