Dr. Bowman is actively involved at SOMA in admissions, promotions, small groups, and clinical skills. He continues a 27 year career delivering, teaching, and researching basic health access. After Baylor College of Medicine he completed family medicine residency at McLennan County (Waco) TX and began a rural practice in Oklahoma. He developed rural training programs and facilitated recruitment and retention in Texas, Tennessee, and Nebraska prior to ATSU. He has developed tools to measure past, present, and future primary care delivery across the six primary care sources.
