Angela M. DeRosa DO, MBA,CPE graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. She went on to do a General Internal Medicine Residency with a fast track emphasis in Women’s Health at Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. DeRosa was the first to create, design and implements the Women’s Health Fast Track program within the Department of Internal Medicine at Lutheran. After her residency, she became the Director of Women’s Health Services and Education for the newly created department of Women’s Health in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital. Her clinical practice was a newly developed women’s health comprehensive clinic, in which she created with the cooperation of the Ob/GYN department. During her time as a day-to-day clinician, she spent a great deal of time working with different organizations/pharmaceutical companies as a consultant to increase women’s health awareness. After two years of practice she started a full time career as the West Coast Senior Medical Director with Proctor and Gamble Pharmaceutical.
Seven years after starting her position at Proctor and Gamble Dr. DeRosa decided to pursue other endeavor and went to work for American Physicians Inc. as the Sub Acute Medical Director. This experience prepared her well for her most recent position, which is as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Matrix Medical Network.
Dr. DeRosa serves as an assistant professor at the A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine of Arizona and is an adjunct faculty member for the Midwestern School of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
