Residency Development Manager
Christine Morgan, EdD, CHES, joined the SOMA faculty in July 2013. Dr. Morgan received her masters degree in Adult Education from Michigan State University and her doctorate in Education, with a focus on healthcare education, from Nova Southeastern University. She is also credentialed as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She was on faculty at Midwestern University-AZ campus for 16 years, developing curricula, teaching health professions students and coordinating their master’s degree program in Health Professions Education.
She is excited to join the innovative educational team at ATSU-SOMA and help address the need for expanded primary care training opportunities in underserved communities. In her role as the Residency Development Manager she coordinates the educational components of the SOMA residency programs, including developing curricula and tracking outcomes. She is also an advocate for both the public health and osteopathic community, serving as a past board member of the Arizona Public Health Association and current president of the Arizona Osteopathic Charities board.
