Mission Statement

To provide individuals aspiring for a health science career an opportunity to become prepared for professional studies in the areas of medicine, education and research.

Program Rationale and Description

The Human Anatomy Education Track of our Biomedical Sciences Program is designed for the individual who wishes to teach human gross anatomy in undergraduate, health sciences or related programs. This program would also be valuable for a prospective medical student who wishes to strengthen his or her understanding of human anatomy in preparation for certain medical specialty areas, including academic medicine. This program may also benefit individuals who want to improve his or her credentials prior to application to professional degree granting programs.

The Human Anatomy Education Track requires a written thesis based on original, scholarly activity consistent with the research-oriented disciplines in the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences Program.
