The goals of continuing medical education (CME) are the growth of knowledge, the refinement of skills, and the deepening of understanding for the practicing health care professional.
ATSU-KCOM recognizes the important role of continuing medical education in the maintenance of excellence in patient care and the improvement of health and well-being of the individual patient and the public. ATSU-KCOM CME programs are designed to encourage and assist health care professionals in achieving these goals by providing high-quality continuing education programs to health care professionals in the United States. Many of our programs focus on the primary care physician, however, those in the specialties will find a number of the programs of particular interest.
The College fulfills the need in helping health care professionals keep abreast of changes in medicine, as well as providing for their continuing education needs. We continue the tradition of providing excellence in continuing medical education. As an accredited provider of CME by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the College offers a number of programs throughout the year. Inquiries regarding these programs should be directed to the Office of Continuing Medical Education.
