Admissions Admissions Recruitment Counselor ** 8-5 p.m. 40 A four year college degree is required, and one to two years experience in higher education student services field preferred. This position will promote the goals of Admissions with the on-going national recruitment of students for admission to ATSU programs with a strong focus on recruiting and counseling applicants. Extensive state and national travel is required for this position. Candidate must have strong communication skills with the ability to give presentations in front of large groups. Admissions Applications Coordinator $10.81 hr 8-5 p.m. 40 Must have a high school diploma with two to three years college plus one to two years of office experience, i.e. data entry, computer work, time management, and exposure to different cultures/diversity. Processing skills are trainable but public relations skills necessary prior to starting. This position is responsible for processing and customer service functions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation skills are expected. Will spend significant time answering questions from applicants by phone and email.  
Admissions & Alumni Assistant Director ** 8-5 p.m. 40 A four year college degree is required with one to two years experience. Must have written and oral communication skills, computer knowledge, word processing, budget, and office etiquette. This position will assist the Associate Vice President for Student & Alumni Services with the administrative functions, support and coordination of programs for the Admissions and Alumni Service of ATSU Kirksville and Mesa. Some responsibilities include: monitoring department budgets/credit cards; responsible for department operations manual; monitor correspondence and files; assist with staff training for admissions and alumni services staff; and etc.  
Anatomy Assistant Professor ** ** ** Must have either or Ph.D, M.D., D.O. or D.V.M. with formal training in Human Gross Anatomy with additional training in Neuroanatomy, and evidence of ability to teach at a medical school level. This position requires a balance between teaching, research and service. Will be teaching in a team-taught Human Gross and Developmental Anatomy Course and possibly in Neuroscience, which courses presently have lecture and laboratory components. Also requires good communication and interpersonal skills. This position will be available as of July 1, 2010.  
Anatomy Chair of Anatomy ** ** ** Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for the full-time position of Chair, Department of Anatomy. We are seeking a dynamic individual with excellent teaching, communication, and leadership skills. Academic duties will include oversight of anatomy faculty and teaching fellows; didactic instruction and laboratory training of osteopathic medical students; innovative curricular design, implementation and assessment; serving on college and university committees; and maintenance of a productive basic or clinical science research program. The successful candidate will hold a doctorate degree (Ph.D./D.O./M.D. or equivalent), show evidence of expertise in human anatomy or a related discipline, and possess the rank of associate or full professor at the time of application. Communications & Marketing Marketing Associate ** 8-5 p.m. 40 This position requires a four year college degree in communication, journalism, marketing, public relations or related area with one year experience in related fields. Candidate must have excellent writing and editing skills; ability to work well with people and in a team environment; knowledge of print and other media; and knowledge of MS Office software. This position will share responsibility for news releases, improve ATSU web presence and support other University initiatives, serve as project manager for department projects, write for print and web media, and cover University events; and other duties as assigned.   
Educational Development & Services Supervisor of Standardized Patient Program ** 8-5 p.m. 40 Applicants must have a college degree, a RN certification preferred. This position requires moving heavy supplies before and after a Standardized Patient experience. This individual will be responsible for recruiting, scheduling and training the Standardized Patients in case portrayal, checklist and case materials. Will be responsible for uploading and maintaining cases in the schools software (EMS). This individual will also manage all employment documents including tracking of Standardized Patients work hours. Must have excellent communication and computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel and Access. Must also have a healthcare background and an understanding of basic physical exam skills.  
Family Medicine & Community Health Assistant Professor  ** ** ** College degree plus postgraduate studies, D.O./M.D. plus teaching experience in a higher education setting, medical education experience would be extremely helpful. Individual will be responsible for curriculum development/delivery and assessment of their appropriate field. Assist in clinical presentation development and teach in field of specialty. This is two part-time positions.   
Internal Medicine Assistant Professor  ** ** ** College degree plus postgraduate studies, D.O./M.D. Individual(s) will be responsible for curriculum development/delivery and assessment of their appropriate field. Also including teaching in field of specialty. Will assist in the revisions, development and presentation of policies affecting KCOM students and faculty. Applicants will serve on committees; serve as a Society Mentor and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair/Associate Dean of Academic Affairs/Dean. Must be board certified/eligible in appropriate field.   
Internal Medicine Clinical Faculty/Geriatric Medicine Exempt 8-5p.m. 40 D.O. or M.D. degree, residency training or certificate of added qualifications in Geriatric Medicine with teaching and clinical practice experience required. Job duties include clinical research or scholarly activity, committee work, teaching small groups, lectures, etc.  
OMM Chairperson ** ** ** Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for the full-time position of Chair, Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Applicants must have an earned D.O. degree from an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine (COM), have AOA board certification (C-NMM/OMM or C-SPOMM), be residency trained, and have demonstrated leadership experience in academic and clinical medicine. Academic duties will include curricular design, implementation and assessment; oversight of OMM faculty, residents and teaching fellows; mentoring students; and serving on college committees. The OMM Chair will maintain an active clinical practice and develop a revenue plan that leads to financial self-sufficiency for the OMM Department. OMM Family Nurse Practitioner $40.00 hr ** 16-20 Must have current RN license, MS in nursing, and Missouri State Board Recognition as a Family Nurse Practitioner with greater than 15 years FNP experience is required for consideration. Also must be CPR certified. This position will provide quality and cost effective patient care services, including child, adolescent and adult medicine; while providing education and mentorship to patients, medical students and family medicine residents.

Job duties include mail delivery and security check of all campus buildings. This position will require some shift work, weekends, and holidays, Must possess a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license.

Call in: very abnormal hours – vary from early in the morning (6:30) to late night (midnight – 1:00). May require some front desk duties.

ASDOH Adjunct Faculty – CE Coordinator ** ** ** Two year college certificate (RDH) or equivalent with two to three years experience in proving oral health care to the public and in CE course coordination, preparation and delivery. Will be responsible for coordination of the CE course as outlined in the First Things First Grant agreement.   
ASDOH Adjunct Faculty – Clinical Hygienist ** ** ** Two year college certificate (RDH) or equivalent with two to three years experience in proving oral health care to the public. This position will deliver oral health screenings and apply fluoride varnish to 500 children ages 0-5 in the community as outlined in the First Things First Grant agreement.  
ASDOH Adjunct Faculty – Oral Health Educator ** ** ** Two year college certificate (RDH) or equivalent with two to three years experience in proving oral health care to the public. This position will provide continuing medical education at provider sties for 50 providers which will outline the dental home model and stress the importance of ongoing care for children beginning with newborns as outlined in the First Things First Grant agreement.  
ASDOH Chairside Dental Assistant $12.00 hr 8-5 p.m. 40 A high school diploma plus one year technical training or schooling in related field with up to three months experience. Must have knowledge in OSHA standards, aseptic procedures, HIPAA regulations, sterilization, and all dental procedures and supplies. Must also have basic computer skills and experience in Dentrix software and dental office. This position will assist dental students and/or faculty chairside  
ASDOH Patient Services Coordinator $11.00 hr 5-9 p.m. 16 A high school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA regulations, and Dentrix software with up to three months experience. Must be able to work well with little supervision and be team-oriented. Some duties include: checking in patients for appointments, load new patient into Dentrix and other duties as assigned.  
ASDOH – Clinic Adjunct. Faculty Exempt **  Exempt Must be a DDS or DMD with a minimum of 5 years dental practice experience and 3 to 5 years previous instructional responsibilities in programs and in core courses in classroom and/or clinical setting.

Audiology Part time Instructor / Assistant / Associate Professor ** ** 20-25 For this position a Doctoral degree is required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an audiologist in Arizona. Also must have instructional skills and clinical practice skills in audiology. Computer skills and ability to develop and manage computer-mediated instruction to audiology students. IDHS-Doctorate of Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Professor ** ** 40+ A doctoral degree is required (PhD, EdD, DHSc) with two years teaching experience at the university level desired. Also need experience in the following: higher distance education; professional healthcare discipline; directing, publishing and presenting research; and be well versed in research methodology. SOMA Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Practice) ** 8-5 p.m. 40 Must be DO or MD board-certified in Internal medicine or Family Medicine plus five to ten years experience. Experience as medical educator is desirable but not required. This position will develop and deliver educational content to SOMA standards across the curriculum as assigned (lab, large and small groups), produce reliable and valid examination items (or complete exams) to SOMA standards as assigned, and provide constructive feedback to learners to meet SOMA standards.  
SOMA Physiologist (Asst/Assoc Professor) ** ** 40 A Ph.D. in physiology or relevant field of study is required and recent graduates from a Ph.D. program are encouraged to apply. A successful candidate is expected to have primary interests in teaching and curriculum development, along with an ability to work in teams with clinicians and basic scientists from other disciplines.
