Support ATSU-ASDOH

A gift to A.T. Still University (ATSU) is an investment in the quality of healthcare. At ATSU’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH), we are committed to educating the most innovative and compassionate physicians, dentists, and healthcare providers. Your support will play a critical role in maintaining ATSU as a national leader in healthcare education.

The reasons for making a gift to ATSU are personal and varied. Perhaps you are grateful for your ATSU education and want to give something back. Maybe you would like to leave a legacy to benefit the next generation of students interested in healthcare education. Perhaps you have received compassionate care by one of our faculty members or graduates. Whatever the motivation for giving, we thank you for your investment and are committed to be exceptional stewards.

Smile Forward

Smile Forward provides dental and oral healthcare for children and adults with little or no dental insurance benefits and who demonstrate financial need. Patients receive care at University-affiliated community clinics.

  • Children: Nearly half of all Arizona children from birth to age four have never seen a dentist. Oral health problems cause school absenteeism
  •
  • Adults: Uninsured adults over 21 receive no dental benefits in Arizona. They delay preventive care due to lack of funds, causing expensive treatment at a later stage
  •
  • Patients with special needs: Arizona has very few special care dentistry units that can provide care for individuals with intellectual, physical, or emotional disabilities.

Dillenberg Center for Health Innovation & Technology

The Dillenberg Center for Health Innovation & Technology was established to honor our founding dean, Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH, to continue his legacy of innovation in clinical education, whole person health, and access to care. On Nov. 6, 2018 we celebrated the opening of the first initiative of the Dillenberg Center, the PDS Innovation Clinic. This new clinic is designed to provide ATSU-ASDOH students with advanced experiences in digital dentistry, working with a dental team in an efficient patient-centered clinic, as well as opportunities to participate with other primary care providers in interprofessional collaborative care. Your support will allow us to develop new innovations in clinical education experiences, oral health clinical research, and improving access to care for vulnerable populations.
