Monica Fernandez, MMS, PA-C, earned her masters of medical science degree in physician assistant studies with an emphasis in bioethics from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2007. Prior to attending PA school she developed extensive experience in medical Spanish translation and interpretation.
Monica Fernandez has been part of the ATSU community since 2009 when she joined the PA Program, first as adjunct and then as full-time faculty. She joined the innovative Virtual Community Health Center Project at SOMA in July 2013 as the continuity and educational specialist, while maintaining adjunct faculty roles in the ATSU PA and PT programs.
