Purpose

The purpose of this research is to describe, over a 12 month time period, the HRQOL, ORHQOL, satisfaction, Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF), and employment status of edentulous, unemployed adults with chronic, persistent mental illness who receive new complete dentures.

Aims

  1. To describe, over a 12-month period, HRQOL and OHRQOL of edentulous, unemployed adults with chronic and persistent mental illness who receive new complete dentures.
  2. To describe, over a 12-month period, patient satisfaction with current teeth, teeth comfort, and ability to chew, clean, and speak in edentulous, unemployed adults with chronic and persistent mental illness who receive new complete dentures.
  3. To describe, over a 12-month time period, employment status of edentulous, unemployed adults with chronic and persistent mental illness who receive new complete dentures.
