Marco Rouman, DDS, MFDS RCS (Ed.), MFDS RCPSG
Marco Rouman, DDS, MFDS RCS (Ed.), MFDS RCPSG, is the associate dean of clinical education and community partnerships for A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health’s (ATSU-MOSDOH) St. Louis Dental Education and Oral Health Clinic. Prior to joining ATSU-MOSDOH, Dr. Rouman served as an associate professor and geriatric dentistry program director at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland.
Dr. Rouman earned his dental degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He received his diploma in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland. He also received advanced geriatric training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he graduated with a certificate in geriatric dentistry. He was also an adjunct faculty member at Minnesota State University in Mankato.
Dr. Rouman then joined the dental school faculty at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor, where he directed the Special Care and Geriatric Dentistry Graduate Program.
With more than 15 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Rouman has served on multiple academic committees, established didactic and clinical curricula, created advanced clinical training programs, and provided consultation to private organizations. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of dental topics. Dr. Rouman is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and American Dental Education Association.
