Allison Crutchfield, DMD, MPH
Allison Crutchfield, DMD, MPH, is director of the pre-clinical education and simulation clinic at A.T. Still University’s (ATSU) Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Dr. Crutchfield is a 2009 graduate of ATSU’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) where she also received a certificate in public health. She earned her master of public health from ATSU’s College of Graduate Health Studies in 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Prior to moving to the Kirksville, Mo., campus, Dr. Crutchfield served as pre-clinical faculty at ATSU-ASDOH from 2009-13, providing hands-on, individual student instruction and developing educational content. She also served as the supervising dentist for Mesa Community College’s dental hygiene program from 2009-12. In addition, Dr. Crutchfield has provided comprehensive family dentistry services in the private office setting.
Dr. Crutchfield is actively involved with community service, most recently presenting oral health education to families of children with disabilities at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital as well as serving as faculty supervisor for the annual Pre-Dental Day at ATSU-ASDOH. She holds professional affiliations with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Dental Education Association.
