Evidence-based Practice Web Site

The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) has created an Orthopedic Knowledge Online site which includes an Evidence-Based Medicine site focused on EBM in an orthopedic context. Developed by the Evidence-Based Practice Committee this site is an excellent site for AT students to learn more about EBM.
SPORTDiscus with Full Text is a comprehensive source of full text for sports & sports medicine journals and magazines, providing full text for more than 350 journals.
Ovid's interface for MedLine, the premier index for health related clinical and research literature, enables searchers to easily perform precise topic based searches. Much of the LRC's full text journal content is directly accessible from the citations retrieved in an Ovid search. .
CINAHL -- Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature Database Guide -is an index to the literature of nursing and allied health. Journals indexed cover nursing, allied health, biomedicine, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and health sciences librarianship. There is significant overlap with Medline (about 40%).
AccessPhysioTherapy Logo AccessPhysiotherapy is devoted exclusively to the study, instruction, and practice of physical therapy – with groundbreaking content for today’s PT. DynaMed Plus DynaMed Plus is a point of care that has incorporated ACP Smart Medicine and is evidence based authored by expert clinicians. An app is available with instructions found on the DynaMed Plus page.
Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy

Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy uses unembalmed human specimens to illustrate anatomical structures. Object rotation of the structures allows for a 3D view that one would normally only see in a cadaver lab.

ACSM web site The American College of Sports Medicine promotes and integrates scientific research, education, and practical applications of sports medicine and exercise science to maintain and enhance physical performance, fitness, health and quality of life.
ASSOM Web Site The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) is a national organization of orthopaedic surgeons specializing in sports medicine, including national and international sports medicine leaders.
a The mission of the Arizona Board of Athletic Training (AzBAT) is to assure the public's health, safety and welfare by licensing and regulating individuals who provide athletic training services.
AzATA web site The Arizona Athletic Trainers Association (AzATA) was formed to promote the profession of athletic training within the State of Arizona.
NATA web site The mission of the National Athletic Trainer's Association is to enhance the quality of health care for athletes and those engaged in physical activity, and to advance the profession of athletic training through education and research in the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injuries.
NATA BoC web site The Mission of the NATA Board of Certification is to certify athletic trainers and to identify for the public, quality healthcare professionals through a system of certification, adjudication, standards of practice and continuing competency programs.
This is the website for the Education Council, a constituent part of NATA.
