Still Society : Legacy Society
Relationships
ATSU enjoys a strong heritage and rich tradition of providing quality medical and healthcare education programs to our students thanks to the generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff, and other friends who have contributed selflessly of their time and resources throughout the years.
These partnerships have been the foundation of our success. ATSU’s success is our donors’ success. Our partners and friends have affected ATSU’s growth into an integrated University representing four schools on two campuses, and have maintained the University at the forefront of whole person healthcare education.
Still Society
What is the Still Society?
This elite donor circle is composed of a diverse group of alumni, Still Partners, friends, corporations, foundations, and student organizations. Still Society members are the pillars of philanthropic support for A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. They embrace the University’s mission to train highly skilled osteopathic physicians, and through their philanthropic spirit and charitable gifts, members advance the future of osteopathic medical education within all disciplines of healthcare.
Why should I become a member?
A.T. Still University is a private, not-for-profit institution and therefore relies upon the philanthropic spirit and gifts of our donors. Through their charitable investments, Still Society members ensure the future of the University by:
- Assisting in the recruitment/retention of highly skilled student doctors and faculty
- Sustaining ongoing programs and academic departments
- Maintaining existing structures, expanding facilities, and integrating advanced technology in medical education
- Ensuring financial resources to allow the University to capitalize on new opportunities
Still Society members affirm their belief in osteopathic principles through their financial investments and personal leadership. They are the philanthropic role models for future generations of osteopathic physicians.
How do I become a member?
Two levels of giving are recognized within the Still Society.
Annual membership is attained and recognized by making an annual gift of $5,000 or more within one calendar year.
Lifetime membership is attained and recognized by establishing a lifetime giving record of $50,000 or more through outright or future gifts.
Recognition for members
Still Society members are offered exclusive opportunities to become well informed about the University and its Colleges. Annually, University representatives and students honor members during a Founder’s Day reception on the Kirksville Campus and a luncheon held in conjunction with the AOA Convention. These events provide members the opportunity to learn firsthand of the University’s advancements in healthcare on the Kirksville and Arizona campuses and the occasion to meet with those whom their charitable gifts impact.
