Still-Well STUDENT WELLNESS Program

The primary objective of the physical team is to provide opportunities for students to improve their overall physical health through proper nutrition and exercise.
To achieve this, the physical team provides physical assessment opportunities, activities, seminars regarding nutrition, fitness tutors, and other relevant support.
Pre-participation Physical Examination
Physicians conduct the pre-participation physicals. The exam includes assessment of:
- Cardiovascular Risk
- Immunization
- Nutrition
- Complete History
- Musculoskeletal Examination
These exams are done annually at the beginning of the fall quarter. They last approximately one hour and are free of charge. (If blood work is ordered, the student pays for it at cost).
Fitness Assessment
These assessments include:
- Body fat analysis
- Flexibility
- Strength testing
- Agility
- VO2 Max estimate
- Sit up test
- Vertical jump
Fitness assessments are given twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.

Wellness Week events this year were filled with fitness evaluations (including the veritical jump shown above), health assessments, and lots of fun.
A mega inflatable obstacle course, chair massages, and wiffle ball tournaments were some of activities they got everyone up and moving.
