TUTORING
The Student Resources office also helps with tutorial coordination, connecting student requests for academic tutoring to those qualified and able to assist the student. Art will work closely with Program Chairs to identify high performing students who can effectively support their peers in mastering course content.
One-on-One Peer Tutoring Program
ATSU encourages students to form study groups and partnerships on their own. In addition, the Office of Student Resources coordinates a formal tutoring program for students who wish to improve their academic performance. Students seeking assistance are assigned to an individual peer tutor at no cost. These tutors are identified and recommended by faculty members.
Drop-In Study Groups
In addition to our One-on-One tutoring, ATSU-Mesa also coordinates Drop In Study Groups led by a Faculty and/or a Peer Facilitator. Drop-In Study Groups are usually from 7 to 9 PM, and meet in the same location, permitting learners to appear when they wish without scheduling an appointment. Services are on a first-come first-served basis.
To request a meeting with a tutor, fill in the drop-down boxes and hit send. You will be contacted within one business day.
