SNMA is one of the oldest and largest minority student organizations in the country dedicated to enhancing medical education and opportunities for underrepresented groups in the medical community. One of the goals of the organization is to improve medical services in urban and rural underserved communities. The organization hopes to increase the number of culturally sensitive physicians to the needs of different ethnic backgrounds. This group is for anyone interested in working with underserved, diverse populations and/or with international missions.
