Student Physicians For Social Responsibility (PSR)
Student Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) is an organization dedicated to educating its members on pertinent social and health-related issues so that each member may better serve his/her community in a way that promotes the health and well-being of society as a whole.
Accordingly, members of PSR will be involved with many activities that include, but are not limited to: fundraising for local non-profit organizations, medical Spanish with an associated medical outreach to the neighboring Hispanic community, lobbying for better health care legislation, making a positive impact on the local environment, and providing health education to the community.
In addition, many members of PSR are also involved with DOCare International, an organization that provides medical services to the people of Guatemala.
