American Medical Student Association (AMSA)
American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a national non-profit (allopathic and osteopathic) organization that is dedicated to serving all medical students and the general public on both national and local levels. The organization works hard to keep medical students informed and involved in current issues, such as graduate medical education and health care policy. Locally, AMSA is active in projects that benefit ATSU and the community, such as educational programs on AIDS and anti-smoking, and helping construct affordable housing through "Habitat for Humanity."
