Emergency/Compassion Grants

The Gutensohn/Student Government Association Student Endowed Emergency Grant was established to provide financial assistance to ATSU-KCOM students exhibiting emergency need for expenses related to a personal crisis. Grants will be awarded to students who have personal emergency situations such as a death in the family/friends, automobile accidents, or personal loss due to fire, tornado, or natural disasters but it is not limited to the examples cited. Students will provide a request to the Vice President for Student and Alumni Services. Award recipients are encouraged, but not required, to contribute to this award at a later date. Such contributions will allow other students with emergency financial needs to benefit from this award.

Rinefort KCOM Student Emergency Grant

This Rinefort KCOM Student Emergency Grant was established to provide financial assistance to KCOM students exhibiting emergency need for expenses related to a crisis. Recipients of the grant must be duly enrolled at KCOM in the year in which the award is made and who have emergency situations such as death in the family/friends, automobile accidents, or personal loss due to fire, tornado, or natural disasters. Grant awards will not be limited to examples cited. Student will provide a verbal request for financial assistance to the Vice President for Student and Alumni Services. Recipients are not required to pay the grant back, but are encouraged to contribute to the fund whenever possible.
