Catalog & Curriculum
SOMA students spend the first year studying clinical presentations primarily in small group settings. The second year will be spent in small group settings learning additional clinical presentations at a Community Health Center. Third- and fourth-year students will complete their clinical rotations in Community Health Centers, associated hospitals, health care providers, and other select health care institutions.
Preference will be given to applicants with a strong history of community volunteerism or service; strong history of public health volunteerism or service; and/or underserved community or population backgrounds.
