Dr. Pamela Parker has worn many “hats” in the medical field: Medical Transcriber, Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Physician. She received undergraduate training in premedical studies from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and in nursing from California State University Los Angeles. She completed a Master’s level program in nursing at the University of Utah along with training as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Dr. Parker attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia  and completed residencies at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington and University of Missouri Kansas City. 

Dr. Parker is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Obstetrics-Gynecology.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  She has practiced in community health centers, private group settings, and at a residential eating disorders unit.  Her special educational interests include diabetes, eating disorders, and women’s health care.
