Dr. Sullivan completed his Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences at The University of Arizona and his B.S. in Physical Education from The University of California, Davis. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship studying the urological complications of diabetes in the Department of Urology at The University of Washington. Previously, Dr. Sullivan taught anatomy and physiology as an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at California State University, Sacramento.

Dr. Sullivan's primary teaching interests include Cardiovascular, Reproductive, Exercise, and Integrative Physiology.
